tony-bernhoffer-photography.com: Photo Galleries
I mostly shoot photos of Northwest Ohio. Recently I had 80 of my old 35m color slides scanned which I had shot in the mid-80's and the early 90'.s. They were taken with my $230.00 Pentax ME Super Camera and my Pentax A Series lenses. A few of the scenic photos in that category were of Pearson Park on the East Sidie of.Toledo. Others were of North Toledo, and Downtown Toledo and the countryside.
I began photographing again in 2004 with a Canon GII film Camera. And my photos of Toledo Botanical Garden shot with one roll of film made one of the featured galleries one month on betterphoto.
I bought a Digital Rebel XT in 2005. And some of my memorable photos became betterphoto editor's picks.I counted 28 at one time.
My trip with my mom in 2007 on the Sandpiper tour boat on the Maumee River yielded me over 166 photos. One of them got me a trophy from the International Library of Photography-my photo of the red CSL Assiniboine departing the Port of Toledo.

Flowers        slide show (50)
Jesus once said "Consider the lillies of the field-they neither toil nor spin but your Heavenly Father clothes them. Solomon in all his finery did not look as spledid as.these." (Not an exactly perfect quote). But the point remains that flowers make good subjects for photography.

Maumee River Cruise with mom (2007)        slide show (17)
I took my mom on an inexpensive 2 hour cruise tour of the Maumee River from Downtown Toledo in June 2007. And mom enjoyed the ride as much as I did. And I shot 166 photos on my digital Rebel in 2 hours' time. It was both fun and tiring. Toledo is a port city on the Great Lakes-Lake Erie to be precise. That is about 50 miles south of Detroit- Michigan. I went on the cruise to get photos of the fancy homes on the left bank of the Maumee River. I discovered their existence at another trip to the park. The tour guide told us that the large homes were in a "gated community".kind of like the "gated community" the Televangelist Benny Hinn resides in with his $3 million home. These are some general sights I saw on the short trip.

NW Ohio Buttefly House, 2004.        slide show (31)
I dug these old 35mm slides out of my archives from 2004 And as the Pro Critic recommended, I used a good quality photo scanning lab. Buttefly House, Obee Road, out by Toledo Express Airport.

Scanned 35mm Slides from the early 90's ...        slide show (67)
Thanks for the memories. A Betterphoto instructor suggested that my home scanned slides were a bit smudged and dirty, so I sent them out to Dale Labs in Hollywood, FLA to have them scanned professionally. And they sure do look nicer to me.

Signs of the Times/ Apocalyptic and ...        slide show (15)
You would think that where my mom, my aunt and I lived was like THE VALLEY OF VISION since we are devout believers in Christ. Jesus warned to discern thee skies and the signs of the times.
All. of these photos are "natural". There was no use of colored filters. There was no color change on my computer.
